Bruised Artist

I have made a formspring account yesterday (you can ask a question by filling it in on the right side of my blog or visit this link to ask) and someone suggested that I post more before and afters. So here we go. I did this shoot yesterday and borrowed my bf’s 70-200 mm L again. I am really in love with the soft bokeh it creates in front of the object (the gras in this photo).

I used a selfmade softbox with a Nikon Speedlight at 1/2 on the left of myself and the lens was at 70mm. My camera settings: ISO 100, F/5.6 and 1/125.

How To – When the sun goes down

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Today I would like to show you how I edited my photo of day 282.

1) and 2) are the 2 main photos I used for my editing. I took them on the same place with the same camera settings.

3) I opened both of them in one Photoshop file and used a layer mask to remove the background of one image.

4) After that I used some rain boots from an older shot to get myself some feet (also with a layer mask).

5) At the end I did some changing of colors and my normal editing.

Have a great November!

Welcome to my blog!

As my first post I want to show you a before and after from today’s 365days.
I used sunlight through the window and a Nikon SB-28 through a softbox at camera left. I did some levitation, hand picking from another photo because you can see my remote, color and tone changing and vignetting in Photoshop. It took me about an hour, so nothing too special.
Will post a levitation tutorial someday soon if you want to ;) !
